On Thursday, Aug. 15, 2012 David passed away at St. Claire’s Hospital in Denville, N.J.  He had been an award winning salesman at Huffman-Koos, Rahway, N.J. for over 40 years retiring 30 years ago.  He was 87.  Born in New York City he lived in Newark and Irvington before moving to Springfield in 1957.    He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a graduate of Rutgers College with a B.A. in business.  He was a past member of B’nai B’rith of Millburn, the Jewish War Veterans and Temple Beth Ahm of Springfield.  He is survived by his beloved wife Rita (nee Feldman), devoted children, Stuart, Steven, and Bonnie Brecher and 4 cherished grandchildren, Elissa, Erica, Andrew and Ian Brecher.
