Shiva: Following the interment on Monday the family will be sitting Shiva at the home of
Jennifer and Eric Hedrick, 7 Edgewood Road, Summit, N.J.. from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
On Tuesday and Wednesday the family will be sitting shiva at the family residence
29 Henning Terrace, Denville, N.J. 07834,
from 4:00 pm till 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday and from 12:00 noon till 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday

Donations: Donations in his memory may be made to the John Barnett Memorial Scholarship at
ZBS (Zak Barnett Studios)for a foster child or teen looking to become a professional actor.

John M. Barnett passed away on Fri., Jan. 29, 2016.  He was 74.  Born in New York City he lived in New York City, Staten Island, Manhattan, Brooklyn and Mountain Lakes, N.J. for 28 years before moving to Denville, NJ in 2005.  He held a BA from Siena College, Albany, NY and an Executive MBA from Harvard University, Cambridge, MA.  He was a VP for Springs Mills, a textile manufacturer, working at their headquarters in New York City for almost 25 years.  He was also a fine artist working in pastels and charcoal. His work has been displayed at various art exhibitions including ones at the Morris County Art Association and the Wilson School in Mountain Lakes, N.J..  He is survived by his wife, Diane Barnett (nee Norman) of Denville, N.J., a daughter Jennifer (Eric) Hedrick of Summit, N.J. a son Zachary Barnett and his partner Darrin Banks of Los Angeles, CA. along with grandchildren Abby, Nate and Finn Hedrick.
